HEARING AIDS
There are many factors involved in choosing digital processing hearing aids. Our Audiologist will take time to talk with you about your specific needs and hearing loss. This information will be used, with the results of your hearing test, to determine the most appropriate hearing device for your lifestyle. Below is a guide to the different type of hearing aids available today.

|
Completely-In-The-Canal (CIC) or hidden hearing aids are very popular. They are best suited for mild to moderate hearing loss, but may be adapted for some severe hearing losses. They use the natural properties of the ear to promote speech understanding even in noise. |

In-The-Canal (ITC) hearing aids provide good benefit for mild to severe hearing loss. The slightly larger battery makes it easier to manage while affording cosmetic appeal. The ITC is available with directional microphones to improve speech understanding in noise or group settings. |

In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing aids are often called Full Shell because they enclose the entire opening of the ear. These hearing aids are typically used for severe to profound hearing losses or for people with dexterity concerns. The larger size makes them especially appealing for people with arthritis or decreased vision. |

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing aids are frequently selected for profound hearing losses or for growing children. The BTE provides maximum gain with limited feedback (whistling). The custom earmold can easily be replaced as children grow allowing a proper fit for many years. |
HEARING AID BATTERIES
Hearing aids require a small battery. Most hearing aid batteries come in a package of 4 to 8 cells that will last approximately 10 to 14 days each depending on hearing aid use. We sell only the freshest batteries at reduced costs for your convenience.

Hearing Solutions, Inc. works with most major insurance programs and will assist you in obtaining payment for services. We also accept MasterCard and VISA in addition to personal checks. Hearing aid purchase plans can be arranged on an individual basis.
